ABOUT STEPHEN
Born in Victoria, BC Canada, Stephen JF Walker currently resides in Vancouver.
He started his acting training at age 21 through the Arts Club Theatre school in Vancouver and performed in small theatre plays throughout Vancouver with productions of Macbeth for Firehall Theatre and Witness for the Prosecution and Mr Roberts at the Metro Theatre Centre.
He continued his acting training through the Alex Bruhanski Studio in Vancouver and after training there for a year Stephen successfully auditioned for the Vancouver Playhouse Acting School for the 1985 season.
A part in Disney’s Danger Bay and a larger part on Stingray (Stephen J Cannell Productions) led him forward in his career until personal circumstances forced him to take a lengthy hiatus.
Fast forward to 2009 in Brisbane, Australia where he played Berowne in Love’s Labour’s Lost for SOP Theatre and the bug bit again. After his daughters finished high school it was time to get back in full time. Intensive training over the year from March 2019 to June 2020 and Stephen is now back in Vancouver firing on twelve cylinders to drive his latent career forward.
